We divide our services into 3 main areas, to ensure your job is done right, the first time. General Engineering, Contract Manufacturing and Mechanical Design. This three-pronged approach provides a point of difference between us and similar businesses.
General Engineering
General engineering is the service area of providing one off repairs or solutions, that may not necessarily be repeated. General engineering is in no-way less complex than the other services we provide, and in fact, due to the one off nature of the work, often requires a slightly higher level of oversight and consultation to ensure that we get the outcome you need.
Foxtec has extensive experience with conducting general engineering operations, as well as managing complex projects. We are happy to undertake general repair and maintenance work, as well as custom one-off projects. these could include general material processing, fabrication, or machining operations. If you have an idea that you would like to bring to a finished working machine, we would love to discuss it with you.
Contract Manufacturing
Contract manufacturing is the service we reserve for the reoccuring production of products or sub-assemblies. The difference here is that we will work with our clients to create a predictable cost basis, and in some cases, assist with the optimisation of design to achieve efficiencies in material, freight and other costs.
Foxtec regularly undertakes manufacturing of components and sub assemblies for OEMs to boost their existing production capacity, or to provide access to fabrication or machining capabilities that they may not have in-house. We routinely provide input into cost-down programs and assist with the development of products. We believe that this approach provides a unique point of difference to our clients. Our attitude is that we all succeed if we can help keep our customers competitive!
Mechanical Design
Foxtec's core strength is an understanding of fundamental engineering principles and our in-house manufacturing knowledge. Unlike many other design service providers, we have the ability to not only develop your idea with you, but we can help you bring it to reality.
With the help from the latest industry leading 3D mechanical design software, we can work with you from the idea on the back of an envelope, to working 3D models, through to full sets of production ready drawings. If your project has compliance requirements, we can help with that too.
